It’s hard to believe that this year marks the 40th anniversary of the creation of the Cosworth YB engine. Powering the Ford Sierra, Sapphire and Escort RS models, it turned Cosworth into a household name and powered Ford back into the winning circle in touring cars and rallying.
To celebrate this important milestone, we are producing a limited number of laser etched commemorative Cosworth YB pistons. These pistons are taken from the production runs of our exclusive Cosworth YB piston sets.
We are restricting the quantity to a run of just 25 pistons, and each piston will be individually numbered.
We are aiming to dispatch these pistons before Christmas for any orders received before the end of November 2025.
We can also offer the option of etching customers’ personal vehicle ID (such as a number plate) onto the piston, as shown in these images. If you would like us to include this then please add your vehicle ID in the “order notes” box on the checkout page.
