Description
These Cosworth valve cotters (also called collets, keepers or valve locks) are designed by Cosworth for use on valves in a number of their engines, including the MAE, SCA, BD series and the DFV. We stock these cotters in sets of 32 halves, so one set is enough for 16 valves. The cotters are suited for valves with a single retaining groove, and can be used in conjunction with our DA0916 spring retainer.
Each cotter is made from high strength steel alloy, and is then carefully inspected to ensure that it is free from manufacturing marks. The precise tolerances of each of these cotters means that they don’t need to be paired during manufacture.

- Suitable for valves with 7.1 mm (.279″) valve stems
- Length = 9.47 mm (.373″)
- Taper angle = 10 degrees
