Description
We now stock the oil filter mounting stud for the Cosworth YB engine. This hollow stud secures the oil filter & cooler to the side of the block.
This component has been reverse-engineered from the original Cosworth YB0219 oil filter stud, and is completely interchangeable with the original part. However, unlike the original stud, this new stud is manufactured from En16T steel alloy for extra strength. The original stud was made from En1A, a much lower grade of steel, and after over 30 years it is perhaps not surprising that the original studs are now starting to shear when attempting to remove.
