Description
Developed using the latest technologies and highest quality materials, this Cosworth BDA piston ring pack (1600 cc) is designed to meet the demands of modern high performance engines for higher power output, improved sealing, lower friction and longer life.
Each KK0399 Cosworth BDA piston ring pack contains:
- PP1052 top compression rings x 4 (80.962 mm diameter x 1.57 mm thick)
- PP1053 2nd compression rings x 4 (80.962 mm diameter x 1.57 mm thick)
- PP1033 oil control rings x 4 (80.962 mm diameter x 3.96 mm thick)
The compression rings in this ring pack are manufactured from high quality cast iron. In addition, the top ring is chrome plated around the periphery for increased durability and reduced friction. Finally, the oil control ring is constructed from a cast iron outer ring that contains a high strength steel alloy spring.
The manufacturing tolerances of the rings in these packs exceed those found in modern-day OEM ring packs. The ring thickness tolerance on the compression rings is just +/- 0.0127 mm (+/- .0005”).
Please note that these KK0399 ring packs are only suitable for pre-issue 6 BA0125 pistons. So, if you’re not sure if this are the correct rings for your pistons then please get in touch.
