Description
Developed using the latest technologies and highest quality materials, this Cosworth BDG piston ring pack is designed to meet the demands of modern high performance engines for higher power output, improved sealing, lower friction and longer life. Each KK0174 Cosworth BDG piston ring pack contains:
- PP1166 compression rings x 8 (90.000 mm diameter x 0.983 mm thick)
- PP3057 oil control rings x 4 (90.000 mm diameter x 3.978 mm thick)
The compression rings in this ring pack are manufactured from high quality cast iron. The oil control ring is constructed from a cast iron outer ring that contains a high strength steel alloy spring. The manufacturing tolerances of the rings in these packs exceed those found in modern-day OEM ring packs. For example, the ring thickness tolerance on the compression rings is just +/- 0.0075 mm. Please note that these KK0174 ring packs are only suitable for pre-version 13 PA0112 pistons. We also stock ring packs that are suitable for version 13 PA0112 pistons. The version number of the piston should be etched on the undercrown, next to the piston part number marking.
