Description
This valve spring seat is made by Cosworth for use with their DR4601 valve spring and DA0916 valve spring retainer. The seat is made from steel alloy which is heat treated after machining to create a hard, durable surface.
This DA0796 seat is the classified as grade (F), with a platform thickness of 0.889/1.016 mm (.035/.040″). We also stock other grades of this seat, get in touch if you’d need another grade. Plus note that shims can also be used to adjust the fitted length of the spring if the required grade of seat isn’t available.
